A. DANIEL MATTOS

 
A. Daniel Mattos graduated with honors form Escuela Libre de Musica de San Juan, Puerto Rico (School of the Arts Puerto Rico Depart of Education), holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance Magna Cum Laude from the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting Performance from Florida State University.
 
Professor Matttos has collaborated as teacher, pianist and choral & orchestra conductor at the Florida State University, the University of Puerto Rico, the Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County, Masterworks Choir of the Palm Beaches, Bak Middle Schools of the Arts (appointed Artist in Residence FY 2016-17) of the School District of Palm Beach, and the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music Preparatory Division.
 
Mattos has been guest assistant conductor of Trujillo Symphony Orchestra for the IV Lyrical Singing international Competition and guest conductor of the Festival Chamber Orchestra for the VII International Bach Festival, both events at the City of Trujillo, Peru. In 2011 he was invited to the jury of the 11th College of Southern Nevada Piano Concerto Competition in Las Vegas.
 
At present, Professor Mattos is the Artistic Director of MusiCaribe Project “Concert Mode’ ensemble, and Music Coordinator at Ascension Lutheran Church.
